E/INSULATION

E/Insulation

E/Insulation is a silicone hose used to protect a variety of distribution and substation equipment at 20kV phase-to-ground. The E/Insulation is manufactured with a split seam to allow for an easy application without the need of breaking electrical connections.

There is no heat shrinking required for application and no tools other than a cutting tool for proper length are needed.

The E/Silicone Sheet is a high temperature vulcanized custom compound silicone sheet with a polyester fabric reinforcement. Made from 65 durometer silicone, almost 1/8″ thick, it is a roll that allows you to custom cut covers for unique phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground areas of substation and distribution equipment.

E/Silicone Sheets offer up to 25 kV phase-to-ground insulation.
