Molded silicone covers to protect against wildlife outages

Midsun silicone covers are designed to protect nearly every type of exposed connection on your utility equipment. Unlike plastic covers, you can make modifications to silicone to make an optimal fit. All covers insulate up to 25kV phase-to-ground. 

All Midsun wildlife covers meet IEEE 1656 standard and are approved for rural utilities service (RUS).

  • Extremely durable, will not chalk, brittle, crack or craze.
  • Prevents phase-to-ground or phase-to-phase contact.
  • Naturally resistant to UV exposure and will not fade or break down in direct sunlight.
  • Flexible and hydrophobic.
  • Can be modified to eliminate gaps.
